Armie Hammer Enters Treatment Program
Armie Hammer has checked himself into an in-patient facility amid a slew of disturbing sexual assault allegations.
Earlier this year, multiple women accused the 34-year-old “Crisis” actor of not only committing graphic, non-consensual sexual acts while engaged in relationships with him, but also of subjecting them to sexual fantasies alluding to cannibalism, rape and objectification.
Now, according to reports, Hammer checked himself into a facility – located in the US state of Florida – on 31 May for drug, alcohol and sex issues.
Hammer’s estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers, and their two children saw him off at an airport on the island of Grand Cayman, where he had fled following the graphic claims.
Speaking to a US media outlet on Tuesday, 8 June, a source claimed that Hammer had reached out to Chambers for help, and – with her and his family’s support – promised to seek treatment until he was healthy.
Another apparently close to the actor also said: “This is a clear sign that [Hammer] is taking back control [of] his life and knows that this [is] a step towards his overall well-being.”
